Looking for a second pair of eyes for QC photos

Hi everybody. I’m new to this forum and I’ve already tried searching for as thread for this and couldn’t find one.

Once I receive my QC photos from my TD, where can I post photos to get a second, third, etc. set of eyes to make sure I didn’t overlook or miss anything important?

so, that means you need to do your homework in advance.

Hi there and welcome. It’s considered bad form to post QC images to get other members to check for you. Buyers are expected to check their own images and decide if the watch is acceptable or not.
That being said, if you have specific questions (are these markers crooked, is this dial lines up with the chapter ring, etc..) then it’s ok to post.

So this is wrong... really you shouldn't be telling anyone the rules when you don't appear to know them yourself.

You can post QC pictures of new watches... new releases etc. But only on their respective information posts. QC pictures there are very helpful and welcome as the watches are new and any first "real" world pictures we can see of them is better than stock TD pictures.

Furthermore, you can post QC pictures with specific concerns and ask for peoples opinions/whether this is normal etc

For example...

I can post a QC picture and say "Hmm guys, I'm not sure about the 9 O'clock marker... looks wonky to me? What do you think?"
This is perfectly acceptable.

What isn't allowed is, posting QC pictures and asking for general feedback. Such as in the original post on this thread.

Right. I Did glance over the rules but I will touch up again because I must’ve missed that part. Regardless, I should be getting QC pics soon and will make sure to go over it very carefully

A little on QC pics.

QC pics are to satisfy YOU that the watch is OK to YOUR standards, that there are no crooked indices, missing lume, offset chrono hands etc. QC pics are not for picking tells or things that are present in every example of a model such as spelling errors, happy feet, wrong lume colour etc. These...

I echo what the others have already mentioned. Personal QC photos are prohibited from being posted, unless you have a specific question about a flaw/issue you see.

I'll add that I'm feeling generous today, so feel free to send a QC photo to me in a PM if you want a 2nd opinion.

Just got my QC pics this morning and looked at them and they looked fantastic. I gave my TD the go-ahead

Now the hard part begins, the wait. In this time of year it's even harder because Chinese New Year is at the door. You'll be lucky if your td can ship before the weekend, otherwise you can count with at least a couple of weeks of nothing at all. And even then, don't know how postal services will be affected.
Even discounting CNY, you would have to wait. Tracking usually doesn't give any signs of moving until it suddenly appears somewhere near your country. This can take a lot, usually, if everything runs as it should, around 10ish days to 2 weeks. Sometimes it's faster, many times slower. Just be patient. From there, fingers crossed, it's a matter of days.

Yep! I’m totally expecting it to not get here til late February lol. No worries and not upset over it…like you said the hardest part is waiting
