very cool but I am not famliar with the Asian 7750 (Valjou I know) so I was looking for a japan or swiss movement. Anybody have any long term experience with the Asian 7750 mvmnt?
a japaneese mvt is something scammers are "offering" unless we are talking about quartz. swiss mvt is very hard to find, very few reps have been made with swiss eta valjoux 7750, and if you find one, you still don't know who assembled the watch.
if you sk me, the a7750 is just fine for the money, then wear it out, and have a swiss eta installed by a forum modder, domi (dmuit) charges 300euro to swap the a7750 for a swiss, when he runs a campaign. IIRC

the best 250 is not powered by a 7750. it's powered by a 7753.
you can probably get one from DSN with a swiss 7753, but you're talking between
$800 and $900. where as you can get a very comparable a7753 for just over $300.
and yes, they all come from the same factory, the 7753's anyway, and dealers just
charge less or more. the first link given was from a "cartel" dealer whom are known
for overcharging for reps. the link I gave was for Lay at Replicamake, who's known
for charging much less, giving much better service, offering a better warranty, and
being an overall better person. so save $50 and deal with a true gentleman... or
lose $50 and roll the dice.
