Looking for a nice PAM111H or 104

Hey all...first post

Been doing a lot of reading/lurking here over the past few weeks. What a great site with some really cool invaluable information!

I'm looking to purchase my first Panerai Rep. I have my eyes set on either a 111H or a 104.

I've read so many different posts with these watches that my mind is in a bit of a jumble and I'm having a really tough time figuring out which dealer to go with for my purchase.

I was hoping that one of you could steer me in the right direction. I'm looking for fairly fast turnaround time as I am actually leaving to go away on business for a few months just after Christmas.

I'm willing to spend around $300 and then I plan on upgrading my strap to one of those Gunny Straps. They look awesome !

My price point is around $300.

I've also been eying out the 250/251 that Lay is selling. Those look really nice too but I wasn't sure on the thickness. Are those quite bulky in comparison to the 111/104?

without I'm wanting to spend around $300 on just the watch and modify it from there.

I quite like the look of the rubber strap to be honest.

only way to go for the 104 is the ultimate IMO

you could get the sead mid level lumed ect for around that

If you want to spend $300,- I think the 250/251 is a better choice, ultimate 104 is more expensive ...

Ya was looking at Lay's 251

looks like a solid piece with a 7753

Having not owned a PAM before but tried on a friend's 111H will the 250/251 feel much bulkier at a few mm's thicker?

Imho the 250/251 will have more 'presence' on your wrist ...

Puretime do a very good 111h, they can also do the pin fix and superlume mod before shipping, even with the mods it's under $300 and I'd say it's one of the best outside of the likes of DSN,VAC etc..

OK, I've narrowed it down to 2 choices.

251 from Lay

Is a 7753 much better than a 7750?

Both dealers in my reading seem solid.

I know it's something else then a luminor pam, but did you see the new pam radiomir 288, that's stunning and very close to the real thing ... same price range ...

If it's between the 104 from DSN and 251 form Lay, I would have to go with the 251,
