Hi guys

I bought my first PAM111 few months ago. I am still pretty new here. I have bought my first 2 straps from Bakeka. Black leather and Natural patina strap. The straps are really beautiful!!! Contact Bakeka for a strap they are really well made and very affordable! Tell him Anderson sent you :) Pics!

I have just put in a order with Gunny for a 'Le Cuir Noir Craque' grey strap. Super excited to receive it and hes great to work with!

Now i am looking for a very nice medium Blue Crocodile strap. Any suggestions guys? I heard Orloff makes some really nice stuff. Also i am thinking of the Tedsu croc straps. I would get blue with blue stitching i think looks best. Thinking maybe i will custom make one with Tedsu. I cant decide between the Babyhorn croc or Croc belly. What do you guys like and why? Right now im leaning towards the Croc belly because its much cleaner on surface without the horns and would look very good on the handsome PAM111. Also what looks better for croc strap, 24/24 or 24/22 tapered? The 24/24 looks more manly?

I would like my strap to look like this ABP strap. Blue Croc belly, blue stitching with same closed stitch using a screw in brushed silver buckle.

I heard about ABP making the best croc straps but prices are maybe a little high. I think $200 price range is good like the Tedsu. How do you order from ABP? I was on the website and had troubles navigating on it haha. Anyone know how much this ABP blue croc strap costs? If i cant find anything as good as this, i might just need to save up and get the ABP..

Know of anywhere else i can get a good Blue Croc belly strap?

After all this, ill have total 5 straps. Rubber, Black, Natural tan, Grey, Blue Croc. I want to find myself a affordable watch strap case holder that would fit 7 straps + 2 tools. I dont want to buy more than 7 straps. I think 7 of my favorites will be just fine for me! Bakeka makes a nice watchstrap bag, but like to see other options. Let me know if you know any!

Thanks:)

paneraimaniac, thanks why are those croc straps so cheap only 100 euros compared to their other croco straps are 200 euros. They have 2 pictures of the california blue and they both look different... dont know if its light blue or medium blue, very confusing. I still like the ABP special tannings blue color much more.

Ive already contacted ABP, Ted su and Orloff... just waiting for replies ; )

Ahhhh ABPparis on instagram told me it will cost between 300-350 euros. thats like 450-500 usd? Thats a little too much for a croc strap?

I know ABP is really good but is it really worth all that extra money, more than double price of Ted su and Orloff who are already amazing..

450-500 for a strap is crazy.... At that price its like paying for a name brand. Their are plenty of high quality strap makers that can do it for less.

For example.. if I was making a gator strap for someone, example below. That would cost $130usd, and its all hand made and hand sewn.

Bradj,

Yes i agree its crazy!!! If the ABP blue croc was $250-300 USD then i would think about buying it. 400-500$ is just too much

I think ted su is good because he says he uses the same crocodile used for hermes bags.. and $170 for croc belly i can afford

Im looking for a blue color like the ABP croc blue. I dont want light blue or a realy dark blue.

$130 is a good price. you make straps and whats your website? Im looking for crocodile not alligator, i dont know but i think crocodile is better?

Alligator is a better material for watch straps and overall nicer material than croc. Check out Migliore strap section he has some great alligator straps as well as detailed info on alligator vs croc vs caiman.

Orloff can do this for you... For a fair price, about $120. He has plenty of different tints of blue as exemple on his blog/we site!

He offers also really nice blue lizzard straps!

Orloff replied me back in italian. He showed me 3 croc straps that werent even blue.. I think it will be hard to communicate with him? How did you guys order from him? Using a translator?

Ted su, whats the best way to custom order from them? Anyone have experience custom ordering from them? I sent them an email, and still havent gotten response. I will most likely go with a Tedsu denim blue croc belly with blue stitching.

I always talk with Mario (Orloff) in english... Don't know why he replied in italian...

He has a lot of different blue croc/gator/cayman (from light blue to navy, deep blue), hornback, belly, neck...

I had really no problem to communicate with him, was really fair!

And his work is really amazing! His straps are really cheap regarding the quality!

As you told in a previous post, you had a look at his photobucket album. There are a lot of different skins, finish, tint & colors... He can do whatever you wish.

Just send him photo of the color required if you have one, or choose some pics in his album the give him an idea of what you're looking for.

Lizzard looks like quite croc (some thought that mine is croc or snake), really nice scales pattern, soft, between suede and nubuck.

Evora,

yeah he replied back in english second time. English looked like he used a translator haha. I asked for a medium blue and attached the photo of the ABP strap. He kept showing me the same 3 pictures. A really dark navy blue croc, grey nubuck croc and thats about it. I asked if he has a medium blue like picture and he said blue is not popular and dont have it.

Guess ill be going with Tedsu, got a reply from them!
