Looking at a sub

I was looking at the sub line from Panerai. Since there are not many threads about these watches, I want to get some opinions on the line and what subs are your favorites. I like the looks of the 194, but it looks huge. I have an IWC BP that looks fine - so it might be OK.

BTW , the question could be... Wich are the BEST PAM SUBMERSIBLE REPS???

I think DSN has some good SUB reps but I'm not sure if any of them worth the money you pay ... I've also seen some good reps from users on this forum but I don't know where/who did they get it from....

Another thing is that maybe any of the factories is going to release a good SUB rep in the next months.... Who knows...

I had a 194 and did not like it.
I love the look of subs and it was my first purchase of one.
Unfortunately it was very cheaply made and felt shoddy.

I have recently purchased a 243 and it is great! I would stick with something like that, or a 024, 025.
I think you probably can't go far wrong with a davidsen.

Really loving the titanium sub with the grey/blue dial at the moment. Something to add to my want list

The 243 is out of stock at replicamake. Trevor had one left a day or so ago. The rep is several years old, and I think it can be hard to get hold of.
the only big mod you need for it is a datewheel swap to bold numbers.
Also the markers on the bezel should be polished.

i got this from Robert @ Time4Direct and was sent to Goin for relume and few aesthetic mods (CG pin, bezel polish, etc).

I've seen the Trevor's one.. it's on a good price! Maybe I'm getting it form him next week if my dealer can't get me a 243...
