People which know me know that one of my favorite watches is the AP Black Themes. I got this watch in March 2010 and it was one of the first APs with seconds at 12. It has Lume from vaccum, AR from Fine DD and Domi put a ETA 7750 in it and he also did the jewel mod on it.

Now here is the story. I used this watch a lot and it got scratches on the bezel all over. I also bought a APbands Hornback strap which customs got. You cannot import this to Germany without papers and APbands didn't sent them. This was in March and since that time they were out of Hornbacks. Now APbands got them back in stock at Thanksgiving and I ordered another one but it was sent to my friend Pix. In the meantime I used the rep hornback but that broke and I wanted to glue it. That was a mistake and I got some glue in one of the lugs and the screw did not come off. What a disaster. I talked to Domi and he said, come over and we fix it and make it gen look like, take the scratches off and give it a brand new shining.
With this watch I had a problem from the beginning with the bezel screws, the holes where too deap and there was a rubber sealing under the screw. In a macro shot you could see that some rubber came off outside of the screws. I also got another spare bezel and a ARed new crystal for the APs.....you never know and it was just in case something happens.
So I drove to Domi yesterday, he put the new bezel on but now the screws were .5 mm to high. He took the new bezel incl screws and grinded it down, then he polished the screws and the watch and now it looks like a gen bezel with gen screws......I also took the bad screw out and did some threading on the lug holes.
I am speechless, good job Domi. The strap will be in the mail soon, so just for the pics I put an old strap on.
