Hi Everyone,

I am struggling to find any info on the reps of this model

https://www.watchfinder.co.uk/Longi...-umkeuR28rtjdYklw8ow9AMfakZWTyWEaAnPUEALw_wcB

There are 3 versions from te GSF factory and I'm trying to understand why there should be 3 versions around the same price point and which is closest to the gen?

Would really appreciate any input or if someone could point me in the direction of any answers.

Cheers.

Versions are for different releases - a factory may come out with a watch, get feedback on problems, and release annew version, hence v1,2,3, even as many as 12ish. A lot of TD’s are really bad at marking when watches are no longer for sale, so probably either it is leftover stock they are emptying, or they are just moved on to another version without marking it as out of stock.

It's important to realise that TDs rarely hold anything in stock. Almost never. They only have stock that's been ordered by customers, briefly, before shipping it out. So the reason you'll see v1, 2, 3 etc. on a TD site is either because a) the factory may still be delivering different versions (usually at different price points), and/or b) because TDs hardly ever get round to removing out of date, old listings from their site.

Basically, the best way to find out what the current available models are is to read around the forums (or go to Google and type "RWI (insert relevant keywords)" which normally works better than using the forum search tool. And if you can't find anything, then post a question, and also contact a TD to ask them what they can currently get. When you contact a TD, only use their contact info from the forums here - DO NOT Google a TD name and go with info you find on the www. There are a lot of scam clone TD sites out there.

What i mean by stock is available - i.e. they will have it listed for sale despite having a fully functioning out of stock function on their website, which they should use when they can no longer get a product, but they don’t always use it. Basically, just because it’s on their website doesn’t mean you can get it.

Sorry melody, I quoted you but my comments were for the OP’s benefit. I realised you were aware of how it works. I didn’t make that clear.
