Whenever someone is looking for a diver for less around 1k the Longines Hydroconquest is mentioned.
The non-ceramic bezel version can easily be bought for around EUR 950.00 at an AD and that’s how I got mine.
I got the older version L3.641.4.96.6 39mm in blue with the Longines caliber L633.5 which is basically an ETA 2824-2 running at 28800.
The watch is 300m waterproofed and the crown guards look sort of retro but I like it a lot.
The dial features a beautiful blue sunburst. I usually don’t like arabic numerals on a dial but with Longines it is an exception.
The quality of the watch itself is not comparable to any rep I own. It’s way beyond that If you decide to take a closer look.
The bracelet and the clasp are both average.
