After I bought a Tudor 79170 Case Kit
on the Bay the work begun. First I thought it is an easy Plug and Play Game unfortunately it was not.
The Case is not gen Spec as aspected.

Overall look of the Case is good, but the Plexiglass, Pushers, Tube and Crown are rubbish and need to changed.
The Rehaut of the Case is a bit too wide to accept a gen Crystal.
It needs to reshaped on a lathe.
I drilled the Lugs installed a gen Tube and Crown polished the case.
The Rehaut is overworked an a gen Plexi is installed.
The Bezel must also reshaped to fit.
I got a Handset and also a Dial with the Kit.

I bought a gen Eta Valjox 7750 and installed the Dial. Unfortunately the Hands don't fit at the first try and need to open a bit to fit.

The Bracelet is a Italian 78360 one I bought from Markimark

Now it turned out like this.

Excellent job!
I have always wanted a big block and didn’t realize how much extra work needed to be put into it.
Look like your persistence paid off.

Nice watch. I am building the same. Can you share the diameter that you used in the rehaut in order to fit the gen crystal?
