This model is surprising:
The Scienziato Luminor 1950 Tourbillon GMT Titanio 47mm from the “Lo Scienziato†collection dedicated to Galileo Galilei is now enhanced by a special new edition. The P.2005 mechanical caliber with tourbillon regulator is skeletonized and for the first time, made of titanium. Features include hours, minutes, small seconds, GMT with am/pm indication, a power reserve of six days with indicator on the back, and a tourbillon escapement.

Have to disagree -- I've always liked the 350, but the use of the 351 case (titanium brushed case, polished bezel) is a nice touch. Very few will cough up the $150k for one of these, but if you enjoy the engineering of a mechanical watch, its a fun grail piece to fantasize about. Plus, PAM's tourbillion is one of the coolest in the world IMO.
Totally against the normal PAM grain, but that's what makes novelties interesting.

My issue is with how they display the Tourbillion.. It gets lost in a bunch of ugly cheap looking skeletonization.. Sorry, but if I were to spend that cash on a Tourbillion then there is a long list of classics that display the awesomeness of the tourby correctly .. This is just plain horrible looking and I love panerai..

I would agree on the cost-effectiveness -- a Breguet or VC would probably be on my radar before a PAM -- or one of the non-skelotonized tourbillon PAMs. But then you have to take the damn thing off to appreciate it haha.

The white dial one with blue indeces is amazing , do you know what ref. is it?
Its part of the new 786 reference number boxed set -- I'm sure it has an individual number, but that is how it is being marketed now.
The white dial PAM 786 for some reason just looks like a cheap canal st. rep to me :/ I am probably the only one with this opinion lol

as @nalomb said, you are not, even paneristi community dissed this watch very badly.
Panerai seems to be ran out of the ideas.
The idea is OK in principal -- they could have used that same color scheme and made it look awesome. It appears the summer intern screwed the pooch on this one though and likely won't be offered that full-time position after all ...

I like it as well. I think it could look great with a simple navy croc strap, kind of like the Sunday boater watch
