Hi all,

I must first saying that I searched for some on this matter and didn't get results...

My "problem" is the following, im now a great fan of panerai watches, and being my first Pam a toro begginer, I immediately felt that I need more accurate and better looking pams. Thinking on this, I went for the Pam 243, is a lovely watch, but has the same problem that my begginer had... The CG lever does not sit flush in the CG, is minimal, but this was the first reason that I looked for a better Pam... So, it would be possible to make the lever flush? Is kind of minimal but anyway...

Here is the pic... What could I do??

In a lever without inscription you could try a shaving and brushing, but with the 1000m inscription you would damage the engraving.

God i must learn to resize pictures....

However, this has a good solution... LOL ...

Lol, you are right.... I just can't stop seeing it is not flushed as I was hoping and seeing around...

Changing the rubber in the lever pin could solve the problem?? The thing is that when I took out the crown and without the pressure of pulling the crown it sits flush perfectly

Sounds crazy, but did you make sure to screw in the screw tight? I've heard stories of the CG not being tight upon delivery and a screw driver may sklve

That will change nothing.

You say that the lever is flush if there is no pressure against the crown, isn't it?

Well. Remove the whole CG. Place some paper (about two pieces of paper) between the CG and the case. Screw again the CG with the papers between the Cg and the case.
Try the working in this way.
Do you get a well working of the lever?
Have you improved the lever position?

If yes, you must remove again the whole CG and shave with a fine file and/or sandpaper the head of the crown the same quantity as the thickness of the papers.

And then to install again the CG without papers.

Do you understand me?

Good question!
Yes, you should be careful about that and shave the minimum possible
