Gentlemen,

I am still deciding on either the 036 or 176 Pam (I know the dial color will make a difference), and can't decide on what color strap would look good on a Titanium watch. I am hopefully going to have one made by Savage to fit the bill. Please show me some pics of yours, both stitched and stitchless, to help me decide. :D :D

Thanks in advance.

The 036 looks great on a dark brown strap, IMO. The 177 looks good on anything...

Where's BBB with his 082 on MP1 (I think it was an MP1). Awesome combo, from what I remember. Reminds me of your strap, tutima. Good choice!

Sorry for the bad pics as just a phone hanging out my studio window. The second pic is closer colourwise. MP XIII on davidsen 082, the brushed SS buckle is pretty close to Ti.

On the subject of straps I just bought a black vintage Simona for my PVD MM20 and this is an awesome strap, rugged, thick, great buckle and a hint of brown. I am going to order a vintage blue and see how that looks with the 082.

I don't have a Ti Pam, but I have always thought good colors with a Ti are those with a hint of red in them. Like a maroon or reddish brown. The chocolate straps fit into this category as they have a shade of red to them.

I persnally don't like the blond or yellow/tan colors on a Ti.

I have seen a black with a royal blue stitch that looked awesome. So that is another great combo.

BTW, its a PAM! You shouldn't stick with just one strap anyway. One easy way to curb an escalating watch habit is to start collecting straps. Whenever I get the urge for something new I just swap a strap, and that will satisfy me for a while :D

Hmmmm, a 177 with a red saddle leather strap like the one Pizanoo has on his 202A would be fantastic, IMO. Good call, tt.

EDIT -- Like this. With or without the black stitch and with a Ti buckle...
