Hi Guys,

just wanted to share my rite of passage.

Before I joined RWI, I had been looking around the internet, looking for a BR replica. I was unaware of RWI and had been sending emails to several sites, just to know whether they'd answer, and to investigate where they were shipping from.

After some looking around, I ended up buying a 100$ replica on a site that shipped from HK.

I picked a watch, this one (link not from the site I bought):

so it was a copy, with a tourbillon, still a few obvious differences from the gen, but, prices was good, and it looked nice, so i went ahead and bought it. Received no QC pics (but at that time was unaware that that was common practice), but got an order confirmation with a watch that matched exactly what i ordered. after that I waited quite some time for my watch to arrive.

The least I can say is that the watch I got was not really the watch i Ordered. I'll attach some pics, for you to judge...
The strap is pretty nice, and looks like the one on the watch i ordered... Aaaaaand that is all...:facepalm:

Long story short: Didn't get any response to my emails and am pretty confident of one thing, our TD's here are TD's for a reason.

I still can't believe how lucky I was to have randomly found Reg (Narika) as my first ever rep dealer a few years back... absolutely no research done on my part, it could have gone so badly for me

Seriously, luckily you have not been scammed like those who buy "Swiss grade" rolexes for 1000-1500 usd.
Now move on and buy lots of good reps!

It is not a moon phase really. It is more a am-pm indicator. But the sun icon scares the crap out of me freaky looking sob

well, to complete the story, they started answering my emails FINALLY. First email they send back was: "dear customer, would you kindly send us some pictures of the watch you received so we can double check with our factory".
So I sent em the pictures I posted up here.

today i had the reply: "dear customer, thanks for your kindly pictures, this is replica, shouldn't be can't same as the real one, but our quality is not bad, don't you like?"

bollocks, I agree that a rep and a gen don't have to be identical, but put pictures up of the watch you will be sending. It's like buying a porsche online and receiving a wheel barrow (if the quality is not bad).

well, let's see where this goes! ;-)

and didn't disclose the name yet, because i was still hoping against better judgement to get a resolution.

can they know you ordered a fake? the website name is not very hard to figure out...

It's a CC company, they don't give a toss what you spend on unlike PP.
Show them what you ordered and show them what turned up. No need to mention fake or the website, what matters is you didn't get what you ordered and they refuse to exchange/refund.

I just logged a claim with visa, let's hope it works out. good thing I didn't spend a lot there
