i believe they are from Pantast, strapmakers from Thailand. I have two straps from them. IMO, you get what you pay for. I prefer to pay slightly more for nicer leather.

Thx for the update. My strap is on its way, so I'll let you know my feelings, objectively, as I have no SC or similar strap here to compare with.

@ the OP, I personally have ordered two straps from this vendor on eBay.
Quite honestly I think the work and quality are good. If you're a strap SNOOB, then you may
think differently, however I can't see a reason why you wouldn't be please with the strap.
The price you can't beat. And in my own opinion, paying $200+ for a strap when your REP is
most likely the same or less just blows my mind. Even if I had a GEN, I would find it very, very
hard for me to pay that kind of a premium price, it's a damn strap!!

So, with that being said, for the price, I think you'll be more then pleased and proud to put it on
your GEN or REP for that fact. I know I liked mine, and I will certainly buy more from that seller.

Actually you can get very nice straps from our boards strap makers, or from SC for around 80-120 dollars.

I have 2 of these, now they all vary depending on what thickness you want but I have
been very happy with these 2. I've owned them about a year now and they did take a while to break in
but well worth it. Mine didn't come with buckles either.
Both are soft now and form fitted to me. The big dark brown is waiting for
a Pam 036 to come in, the tan one is waiting for a Pam too but don't know which one yet,
any suggestions?
