How do I get a Lello datewheel for a 7750? I checked the members directory and nothing.
Thanks!

Lello is more active and sell his DW via RWG.

The last time he replied to a member there was OCT 2008.

His DW are selling like hotcakes and I am not sure if he still has any left.

I hope this helps. Good luck :D

Last summer, I heard a rumor that lello was going to stop making datewheels, so I tried to make my own for my BCE (7750). It's incredibly difficult (much harder than I imagined), but I finally had a bit of success.

Here's a link showing my datewheel installed:

I have a few (very few) left over. PM me if this is what you're looking for.

I appreciate the offer, but the DW would be going on a PAM 240. Couldn't I make a decal or insert myself to go over the exsisting DW? I would then be eliminating the gap. Is removing the date wheel very difficult?

Removing the datewheel on an a7750 isn't that difficult (of course it's all relative). I've seen some good tutorials. I'd give you the link, but i'm away from my main computer right now.

You can try making an overlay. The difficulty I've had is getting alignment right. I've tried waterslide decals and press on decals. Every time I try, the alignment is off (that's why I used a Pad printing process). You really need to get things exact or you'll see that it's off once installed. If you have patients and a good eye, you could probably do it, but don't expect to be able to get it right the first time.
