Leather or Asso strap?

Hi

I'm about to order a PAM111N on PTW, now I can't decide which strap to take. I like the 'gen' standard brown leather strap, but the Assolutamente strap is beautiful too. What's your opinion guys and which one is more durable and the 'better' one? Just take the brown leather strap or go with the Asso... ?

Go for the Asso strap is awesome, and the v2 of the strap has better stitching, the Noob leather is also very very good. I've just put my Asso strap back on my 390

Don't be the Noob rubber strap is outstanding, and trust me if your not happy it will sell in the sales section very very quickly.

Yeah I like the Asso but anyone has experience with durability? Does the 'soft' look disappear after a while or not?

So maybe I go for the 258usd leather strap and add an extra Asso (V2) for 40usd, this is cheaper than getting the 278usd asso (v1) and add a leather (40usd) strap

Well, the reason I say that you should get an aftermarket leather is because you can get one that you'll like better. For example, Bronzy, a member on here, makes WONDERFUL aftermarket straps to your liking. His prices are around the 40$ mark. But if you REALLY like OEM pam leather, then get both from the TD, but do be warned, sometimes the OEM leather quality is plasticy..

It almost has an asso texture to it, but with the more vintage look.

From the picture that PT has of the OEM leather, I'll bet you once you get it, you'll notice that it has a very plastic texture, and is not very soft. I'd avoid it.

I don't know, this is GEN, big difference? Looks kinda plastic too
