Hi guys! It's my first post here..joined RWI since end of December but never posted anything, although I read it almost everyday :D:

After weeks of reading and researching about the better reps available now (111, 243, BK/ TC Sub, Diver 3.5, new ingenieur etc) decided to pull the trigger on the 111.
Was hesitating which TD to get it from, as there's a chinese site which sells the V3 111 with the Y-Incabloc mod for a little more but I figured to just get one without any mods and then send it to Goin for the mod and service later few months later when he's less busy. Since I heard good comments from Ryan and I'm also located in HK, decided to give him a try as I guess if I order from puretime it'll take quite long as they should have so many issues to deal with now.

So I ordered from Ryan at intime yesterday, made the payment via WU and got the QC pics on the same day itself.
Ryan is quite easy to deal with, replying my emails pretty fast and giving me the QC pics within a few hours after receiving my payment.

Btw, its actually my 1st rep purchase so I'm not really good at the QC pictures (catching any flaws) and would really appreciate it if you guys give me your comments and feedback! (whether there are any problems etc and should I accept it or not)

There are 6 QC pictures in total -Panerai PAM111 V3 Noob Factory Pre V Hands on Black Rubber Strap

I see nothing wrong with the hands, but it does look like there is some paint missing from the top of the A in Panerai on the dial

sharrkey I think you're right! Didn't notice it till you pointed it out.

hmmm....

One question, that speck or paint missing, is enough to reject that watch?? I mean, wouldn't the TD get mad at that? I'm just asking... Cause I wouldn't like to get it like this but at the same time is so minimal that wouldn't know what to do....

I think that there's really a speck of paint missing as both the pictures show the same...don't think that its lighting/photographing problem.

Should I tell ryan and reject it? haha

By serial number stitched do you mean the N1286/2500?
Sorry for the noob question but what's CP? Crown pin? I'm not exactly sure which part is that..

thanks anyways

CP= Cannon pin kinda hit or miss if you get a polished and flat, nearly all have a small roundness to them and wouldn't warrant rejection

Engraved serial no, but yours might just be the angle it's been taken or lighting

Thanks sharkkey!
Appreciate your input and helpfulness. Btw, is your 111 from Ryan as well? Looks pretty good did you get it polished/modded?

Will email Ryan and tell him. Because to be honest if you ask me I can't stand wearing the watch and standing looking at the chipped A the whole time. Some imperfections like in the rear movements or CP I can bear with, after all it's a rep we're talking about..

No problem happy to help, I got mine from Toro but no longer have it:facepalm: nothing done with the Cp from a distance and on the wrist it looked polished and flat, yet under macro it shows slight roundness.
Good luck I'm sure Ryan will look after you

Just got this exact model from Trevor, and it was my first Panerai. Having owned many Gen. and Rep.s this one of the best I have owned. You will not regret this purchase for this price it is unbeatable!!
