These look really really good to me. I know the 061 was popular in the rep scene around 2007, but it looks like this might be from the Noob factory modeled after the latest 005 and 111 just in titanium, which I think would make this a winner. What are the experts thoughts? Maybe this is H-factory? (I know I can always ask Sead - more concerned w/ thoughts on how it looks rather than what factory it from... since I think it look GREAT!)

I just placed an order from Sead for 3 watches but looks like I may be getting a 4th and 5th, and 6th.... haha.

at this time no.

we were hoping this would be the very first correct a-f titanium
crown guard ever made by a rep. factory, but we were let down.

there's no good ones made yet. maybe in the V2 of this watch?

So..., is the CG inner radius GEN-like or not?, is the CG it 'fat' and 'curved' enough? Judging from overall critique on RG, this looks like a serious effort OTB.... Now I wonder if soon there will be some suppa'modded versions available...... BTW, congrats to the H-factory people for this effort!

inner cg is pretty good.
it's too curved, not flat enough. not really modable either.
they could release a new crown guard you could attach to that,
but the chances of them selling one stand alone are slim, but who knows.
overall yeah, great effort.

yes MM is right! the CG it wrong, and pretty obvious..otherwise its almost perfect! The font seems alittle thinner than gen, but maybe just me.

Yes it is a H maker watch
The CG has very round inner edges and wrong shape.
As you can see in below pic

PAM056DSNCOMPARISONCGWITHGEN.jpg

But not so bad
The rest is very good. Sure a Frsit Class replica and with a correct CG a Super rep.
Maybe the V2...

Guys,
Forgive me as I am a Panerai Noob - but I cannot spot the differences on crown guard, and would like to know (I'm curious...)
I'm sure someone has drawn a diagram on photos with arrows and explanations comparing the two - mind posting??
I don't know what to look for.... Thx

look above the lever.
on the gen, it's flat. on the rep it's curved.

Most people won't, especially if they're a foot or more away from the watch. We just nit pick because it's what we like doing for a hobby.

True dat, as Fakey would say:

As a new member here, I have to say that yes, all of this is nit-picking.

But it is this nitpicking that has made the reps so much better in recent years. Without it, the manufacturers would have had no reason to change.

So thanks to all the nitpickers! I am enjoying the fruits of your labors :)

I've got one of these sitting in local customs right now, along with a few other pieces. The waiting is killing me.

the crown guard is bad, clearly. even in the dealer pictures it shows it being far off.

but whatever. this is the only Luminor I have left and it'll stay like that for a while.
love the watch, wear it all the time. it's my most worn by far.

and think about it: all they need to do is release a new crown guard and sell it
separately to all of us wanting correct A-F series titanium crown guards for all of our
vintage projects. put one of them on, bam, game over.
