I just read that Simona Di Stefano passed a few weeks ago.

I never met her in person but I bought several custom straps from her and she always proved a kind and attentive person.

She took over her father's laboratory and thanks to the highest quality straps, she made Di Stefano one of the most renouned names in the Paneristi circle, and it was a very well deserved fame.

We will miss you Simona, may you rest in peace.

Oh no!!! This is terrible news.... and a devastating loss to the strap making community as well.

Her work was a huge inspiration to me.... I noticed they were not posting on social media lately.

Sad, their website is still frozen, don’t know if she had an apprentice, wanted to order a DiStefano Simona Alchemist strap last month but oh well…
