Late 1990s Hong Kong movement - Submariner ID?

I picked this up in Hong Kong back in 1998. It worked just long enough for me to make it to the airport! Put it in a drawer when I got home and have only just decided to revisit it. I can't find any 'older' movement references, and was hoping these photos might provide some clues as to the manufacturer? It is fitted to a replica submariner. TIA for any assistance!

Yep it looks just like the ST6D on OFrei's site.
