Hi Everyone,

After over 4 years and over 200 127s later I am finally finished with my order queue. I can now concentrate on selling complete builds on my section, I will also put them up in the M2M section every once in awhile.

Now have more time to experiment with other types of builds as well as vintage builds. I can contribute more time to help the rep community contributing more time to the forums. And last but definitely never least, I will also have more time to dedicate to my own family who has been very patient with me.

Want to thank all of you who have been so patient throughout the entire time, some of which had to wait a year. For those of you, and there are many, who still own the watch I built you, wear it in good health and I hope it has brought you joy!

Here is the last build in the queue, she’ll be headed to Singapore…

I'm excited for the next stage of your journey, can't wait to see some amazing vintage builds and possibly some other brands.

I loved the PAM177 you built for me, it was scary how close to my gen it was. My family could not tell the difference!

Thank you for your dedication to our addiction over the years!

Amazing. Hats off. It's a petty that it is the last 127 from your hands...to new owner: wear with pride.

Well, marlin just said this is the last in his work queue, meaning watches that were commissioned to him to mod (wow, 200 that's more than 1/10th of the production run of the gen). It's not the last PAM127 that will pass through his hands as he will sell watches from his section and I'm sure PAM127s would be among them. :)

They'll be more 127s built, the problem with the 127 builds are the cost. They aren't cheap to mod properly so they exhibit all the right gen. characteristics for those of us who are OCD. So many extra parts are needed on the latest incarnation that it makes things add up quick. I'll be offering a couple of modding options to make them more affordable to those who aren't as picky and don't mind minor tells. I hope to start putting them up for sale in the next few weeks.

I am a little rusty since I've been under a rock for such a long time. Not to long ago I put up a post asking members what they would like to see modded, but got no replies.

Tell me what watches would you like to see modded? Only request is no glued on plates on movement, that just throws everything off...

On the vintage side, I would like to revisit the Vintage Series watches I started some time ago and had to abandon due to workload. They were very unique one of a kind pieces.

6154, 6152 no CG - Open and closed CB. Moli modded movements
Pre V, Pre A, A and B even they are closed CB. This would require very detailed case/dial work and almost nobody is doing them anymore

201A gets my vote. You can butcher a noob 111 case set. All we need is a nice dial, which I believe is still possible from certain members on HF. This will be a home run!

J, that's a mouthful my man, a lot to take in. I have Pre V movement engravings all set to go and I can source the movement with the CDG running in the same direction as the gen. I still need to do more research on cases and dials. I know Rolli had some beautiful dials, I can make dials but I doubt I can get to that level. I would need to do some R&D into this.....

If needed you can have my wOlf/Rolli 201a for R&D. The cases (maybe 50) he modded are older Noob (up to M series). Rolli released some awesome dials but not sure he's still producing them.... The sticky point for the 201a is the CG. The one I have is from DSN, probably one of the last ones with a decent approximation to the fatty nature of the ones Panerai originally produced but none, besides wOlf, has produced anything resembling them

Dial looks like it used ink transfer, I could probably make the plates but I don't have the equipment nor have I ever done it before. Rolli ran out of dials a long time ago, I remember is post on RWG and his offering. I'll have to dig deeper into this. Once I get started I'll put up some posts of the progress....

No need to recreate the wheel with the dial. Rolli's is near perfect and will make more if there is an order for 10-20.

I know a guy that has pretty good case shaping and PVD. Rumor is he will also have a 1:1 gen CG by the winter;). All we need is a movement Marlin!!! I'd lay down some good coin for a Swiss with pre-V engravings for my 203/A franken

And by the way Marlin, congrats on the PAM127 mission. Your builds are legendary and beyond comprehension. You've added tremendous value to this hobby. Thank you!

Keep up the great work J!!!!!
I'm blessed as it is in having one of your completely overhauled 111's!!!! Man, that model is scary close to an original!!!!! You are THE KING of saving clear casebacks for those of us who suffer visual OCD!!!
Have you thought of messing with any of the VSF open caseback range???
