I know that there are other forum links to Bronze cleaning measures, but I wanted to post a few quick before and after shots of my KW 382 that arrived from Sead this afternoon. 6 buisness days from China to CONUS

And now I know that ever lick of patina was earned.

Its a custom I picked up on M2M. I was not sure about the green look, but now Im hooked.

Now I'm all sad....I miss my 382. Off to Vac for movement servicing/cleaning. Great combinations of watch/straps/buckles. And good call on starting the patina from scratch. When I got my ZF382 in it had a bit of a patina already started....sent off to NCchef for his modding and he sent it back all cleaned/polished up. Starting the patina from scratch is well worth it and very cool to know it all came from wrist time. WEAR IT WELL!!!!!

I am digging your ammo strap with distressed buckle. I love the bronzeish stitching. I need to pick up a brown/light brown 26/26 to replace the rep strap. I was considering the light brown ostrich on panatime, then started looking at the matted green gator and decided it was way to late for that type of purchase.

has anyone tried the $20ish bronze plated buckles on the bay? Or have a go to for inexpensive bronze buckles?

I had one of the $26? eBay ones. It was pretty good, but not sure what kind of bronze/brass it was.

Did anyone make the bronzo submariner buckle have the same vintage look as the case? I can't find the instructions anywhere on how to do this...
