Hi everybody,

ÃŽreceived today my wonderfull KW Pam 364P Noob 7750. Watch is incredible, really deserve super rep status.

but

movement, makes a big noise, like if something is moving inside case.

I decided to open it to inspect it.

Guess what i found ?

Rotor was litteraly moving inside movement, not attached at all. I tried to refix it in pin hole, but i cant stick into it.

Only solution was to remove the rotor plate.... do you think it´s bad for the movement ? Or will i just have a manual winding pam 364 until my local store fix the problem ? i dont know if such a thing can cause damages

I had that happen on my KW382and also recently on my ZF389. I sent the 382 back for repair but am yet to decide on what to do with the 389. It is a closed back but from the sounds I am pretty confident that the rotor has totally separated from the movement.

It looks like the factory making the 7750 movements are not adequately fixing (glueing or screwing) the rotor to the central winding shaft.

Can i leave movement without rotor like that and wear it as a manual winding watch ?

Is this a 7750 or a st2555? 7750 has a screw that is under the faux center plate with three plastic screw caps. Just needs to be tightened down. St2555 rotor is glued on and will need to be glued back on again...

Their should be a normal screw for the rotor below the plate with 3 small screws... That one needs to be screwed back in ;)

Isn't the screw lying at the balance wheel (looks like it from the above pic.....)

I might pull the back off my 389 and see what is in there. I expect to find the same setup as in the 364 pics above.

Spankster- Thanks for the link to the fix. Will check it out.

For now, i just removed entire rotor and wear mine as a manual winding piece....

Power reserve is pretty low, but at least it works.

I dont know who can fix my problem. It's not just reassembling, it seems like one piece is missing (the one where cap is supposed to be screwed in)
