KW 44mm Luminor Crown Tube - How's it Fitted?

Hi all, perhaps not likely to get an answer unless someone's done a complete tear-down of a KW case or work on the crown tube, but does anyone know how the crown tube is fitted, specifically to the KW Luminor? Is it threaded and screwed in, is it press-fit or otherwise?

I'm just think of tactics to get my watch water resistant.

They are press fit...I put a little GS HYpo cement in the hole before I press it in...

The way the KW case looks compared to Noob (from the comparison thread), it appears that the counterbore around the tube could be deeper which could explain why the tube stands proud - the nut screws deeper into the case. A special washer could be used to space the nut correctly if that was the case.
