Hey Guys,

This was just announced today as "ready to ship now" by Kuvarsit on our sister forum RWG as they're are a TD over there.

The 382 Bronzo has been on my wish list for months but have decided to stay away from buying anything with an A7750 unless serviced. Been waiting for a release with a Seagull like they have offered in other Pams that normally come with an A7750 and it's now available. I've gotten the general impression that it's a decent movement but more feedback would be great! I'm hoping they don't run out before I'm ready to get mine lol.

Thanks in advance...

Feel free to get whichever you like, personally, I will only buy 7750. Recently I've had a 359, 312, 499 and 24... all 7750 and all running just fine. I serviced all of them and put in new barrels, but it was just to future proof the movements. At the time the work was done, they were running just fine. I just do it because servicing is preventative maintenance, like a car's oil change.

The only benefit I see to the seagull, if you care, is the more accurate balance location. I'm not too worried about that because if you take a few seconds to look through the open CB, its easy to pick out the faux deco plate anyways.

Does the pearl look funny? It looks like the color or something is off?

I know it's actually a GREAT movement after proper service and wouldn't hesitate buying anything with an A7750 if it came from you. I actually jumped on a 243 serviced with swiss parts (my first A7750) from a forum friend. Not too worried about subtle differences in gen-like movement replication but wanted better odds and peace of mind on the movement being trouble free before it's actually due for an "oil change". Haven't heard of too many problems and I do get reliability from all my reps with other ETA clones (knocking on wood) lol. Good to hear your preference for this movement as you must be seeing good "as-delivered" condition of these A7750s. Maybe things have changed.

Is there any difference to the 7750 version, other than the movement and price? Is everything else (dial, bezel, CG, case, etc) exactly the same?

That's what I see in kw pics:

Better pearl
Better brushing on the bezel
Same bezel chamfering as before
Less evident/worse chamfer on the bottom part of CG
Caseback engravings (fonts) are different. I wouldn't know if more or less accurate.

All in all it would be almost perfect, but I'm puzzled by the CG...

I just ordered the Seagull 382N so I'll report here how it runs. I'm also worried about the 7750 so I opted for the Seagull which was, surprisingly, cheaper by $50.

Being that all these movements are from similar origins, I don't think there's a reason to be more worried about 7750s than any other movement. When their reliability is in question begins with modified versions. Don't let the AP sec@12 give the 7750 a bad name.

BTW, if it comes time to fix a seagull, it will most likely be more expensive due to the cost of the movement. For me, $60 shipped. Then that's where the labor begins for swapping parts to make the new movement ready for installation.

The funny think is, a ALWAYS prefer the A7750 movement. Especially the PAM's with an 7750 without any complications.
