all I can see is the "officine panerai" engraving/printing is upside down

haha yeah OP print is upside down. Anyone noticed the glass? Looks pretty good with not much distortion.. i think the 127 will be a winner. unfortunately no Y incabloc.

the op and seventeen jewels are upside down I guess they just turned a standard 6497 movement upside down for it. not thattttt big a deal IMO

Depends on who you ask. If we're obsessing about hole positions and bezel chamfers and CG levers, this would be as big of a deal as any. Most especially if it has already been done right (by Noob) before. The previous release was such a high standard but it would make no sense to drop the ball now.

yea that's true. sorry for my petulance mysterio i was just super excited for this, been really keen on this ever since the noob 217 sold out everywhere but I'm not going to drop $400 on a rep with potentially many flaws. are there any other obvious flaws that you can spot? thanks in advance!

Unfortunately "OFFICINE PANERAI" is upside down, all letters was printed, not engraved......

Superfast response we are getting from the factories in terms of correction. I hope they do it in time for the release.

I've just placed my order on the 217 and Amanda confirmed me the factory has fixed the incorrect engraving. "Officine Panerai" and other markings on the movt are now accurate.
