They are fine to deal with but if you have a problem with them you will need to go to the Mods next door for help.

So far I have ordered 5x watches from them. Shipping was via UK.
Communication excellent
QC photos available quickly
They accepted my remarks regarding QC photos and quickly exchanged watches for new ones. Shipping time through UK was ~14 days.
Two watches came with minor issues and since the spare parts for these are not available on the forums I have asked them to source them from the factory. It's total value of 5$ of spare parts. After a communication that lasted a couple of weeks they have declined my request and asked me to ship back the watches that had these faults for exchange. I asked them what happens if the package gets lost or seized in transit and if they will reship them via UK since my country is with high customs risk. They told me that they are not responsible if the package gets lost or seized by chinese customs and that in this case they won't replace them free of charge and they told me that they would return the watches (repaired) to me via HK post (all not acceptable for me). Now I am stuck with these watches with no spare parts which are completely functional - the issue is with the crown lever on the roger dubuis excalibur watches. The lever is loose and once you close it it's clapping - not fully fixed to te crown guard. It is due to the fact that they are poorly machined and I simply cannot make the fix by myself.

I spent like 1300$ for the 5x watches and they won't be seeing anymore business from my side..

Hey man what sort of fixes do you need? As a fellow rd guy i feel your pain! I work for an engineering company, in the apparent customs haven that is the uk! If its an easy fix i may be able to help! Sucks being ripped off, 1300 bucks is no small amount of change. Also a guy call hungary rolex has just listed an rd chrono for parts... might be of some use?

Thanks for the assistance but I think I'll have to try to fix it by myself somehow..

The issue is with the Excalibure model. The watch has a crown guard/lever system where the lever is loose due to being poorly machined/made.

The zone of the red circle on the photo is where the lever is fixed with a screw (top side) and in the bottom side the lever makes the click to close/protect the crown. While beeing loose (cannot be fixed on the upper side nor closed properly on the bottom side the lever is loose and it's making the clapping sound when you move the arm..

I was advised to try to insert somehow a piece of transparent/invisible nylon thread and see if I suceed to fix the issue. Not sure if it will help but I might try it..

I have seen the listing for the chronoexcel, thanks for pointing me in that direction..

No worries man! I have a similar problem with the crown gaurd on my excalibur. Just rattles that bit too much when not clicked into the ball catch. Luckily mines ok once its clicked in. Its a long shot but if all else fails and you have a strap pin pusher, try pushing the ball catch mechanism through a little more from underneath? Tried to picture but not the best sorry!

@Dr Fun Socks tnx for the tip. I'll try that when I find some free time during the weekend. I have 3x of these watches. I will try switching the lever in between them. Maybe there is a combination that is good for all so no rattle sound anymore..

Sucks to get a load of duds! Especially when they look as good as an excalibur! I think a combination of spacing the non clipping end with clear nylon shim and if needed, giving the ball catch a tweak should sort the rattling. If you ever want rid of any rd's keep me in mind though :) good luck getting them up to standards!
