First, I would like Ko67 for his work. He went above and beyond my expectations. What first started out as an installation of TC hands became an oil/lube/regulation of the movement and water resistance test of the case. The A2836 was running 2 minutes fast a day but after applying some of his magic, it's now at only +5 sec a day. He also adjusted the pearl.
He kept constant communication during the process providing updates and pics. What's even more impressive was the turn around time for all the work he performed. I sent it on the 7/12 and got the watch back today, 7/22. 10 days and at least 5 of those days was transit time to and from him! WOW!
I have found my rep modder/watchsmith of choice in the US and will be getting more work done. On his advice, I will be ordering a TC crown and tube and have him install it, as well as servicing an Explorer II I have coming back from a relume service. Once again, thank you, Kevin!
The watch itself is gorgeous. The stock BP hands were too green in the daylight. TC hands are a great match. The general consensus is that the hands and TC bracelet are a must for this watch and I agree. Excellent watch for the price.
