Hi all,

Noticed that the Black Bay Blue (shield) isnt quite a super rep or NWBIG status. Just wanted to ask about the known flaws. It probably wont hold me back from buying one. Just more curious than all.

is the shade of blue on the bezel off? the bezel is low quality? I already know that the dial doesn't have that same 3D texture effect of gen.

I know on the rose version that the bezel is lower quality and the other flaws are that the dial doesn't have the 3d texture and the rose is off.

wondering if there are any tudor experts haha. Thanks

Buy it and wear it with confidence. It‘s a stunning watch. If you want to tackle the flaws look at my thread „Tudor BBB eta, some cheap improvements for everyone“.

Unless it has changed recently, the bezel insert has visible die-roll compared to the gen. This means the inner and outer edges bend down slightly, creating a highlight as the surface goes from flat to curved.

I really was interested in the new ZF BB Blue bezel, so I ordered one from inTime. I was a bit worried about the thickness of the watch....
When the QC pictures arrived I could see a considerable color difference between the hands lume and the lume of the dial markers.
Ryan showed me another watch but he told me they are all like this. (Reading further on RWI, apparently it's one of the known issues of this watch)
Maybe in future production runs they will get this fixed, as the Black and other versions of the watch don't seem to have this problem.
Following I cancelled my order and ordered a Noob V7 Sub instead.
But there we have o.a. the bezel color issue. :blue:

Haha yes.

I think I will be selling my tudor sub and picking up a JF 16610. That thing is practically spot on. Just changing out the date wheel is all that is needed.
