$1,300-$1,500

I sold the originals in the late 80’s for around $400 a pop.

I think it's pretty cool. Love the 35mm size. Just have to hope it will get repped right, I'm excited to see if it wil.

Kith x tag heuer limited edition?! This is literally 80s tag heuer formula 1 watches. This kith dude probably found an old playboy magazine in his closet and stumbled on an old tag heuer ad and said to himself "yeah baby, kith colab".

To be fair they did position this more as a relaunch of a classic (using the old supplier for case manufacturing) and Fieg as promo given its the piece that ignited his collecting. I do think the case size and design make for perfect summer casual watches.

That said, price is an absolute rip off designed for hype beasts. Hard not to miss the irony in Fieg’s story that the Formula 1 was an affordable way into watches yet because of Kith branding they’re asking $1,500+ for a plastic case (and strap now) and quartz movement

I have a bunch of those 80s pieces without working movements. I should now replace the movements and get’em working and cash them.

Hideous. Would rather have one of those Breitlings instead...

Looks like most of the eBay sellers have put their prices up this week, was gona try and pick up a cheap 35mm one- I think those originals are great summer watches
