These would be on display at Costco for $300 or so back then. Never much of a watch.$1,300-$1,500
I sold the originals in the late 80’s for around $400 a pop.
Could buy the F1's with the plastic bracelet in the 80's for $175 CDN $225 stainless and the 1000 series started at just over $325....$1,300-$1,500

Looks like most of the eBay sellers have put their prices up this week, was gona try and pick up a cheap 35mm one- I think those originals are great summer watchesI have a bunch of those 80s pieces without working movements. I should now replace the movements and get’em working and cash them.
Kith x tag heuer limited edition?! This is literally 80s tag heuer formula 1 watches. This kith dude probably found an old playboy magazine in his closet and stumbled on an old tag heuer ad and said to himself "yeah baby, kith colab".
Remeber that replicas are majority for Chinese people. Tag is not popular there. This Tag is a by product of the 80s-90s Western pop culture. So not that shocking. Can't believe these never got repped... Surely would have sold like hot cakes.
Fair point. Tag are replacing Rolex as offical F1 timekeepers next year and F1 has increased popularity in China recently with their Shanghai GP and Chinese driver Zhou Guanyu... Perhaps more good quality Tag reps will happen at some point, fingers crossed.Remeber that replicas are majority for Chinese people. Tag is not popular there.
