I received the LH's CG today but I am surprised that it is not flush against a cartel 11h case.. so it the legs need sanding.

But how do I sand it? I've sanded things before such as walls and doors but never metal.

What type of tool or sand paper do you recommened?

Anyone have the same experience?

Thank you!

Not an easy mod if you don't know what you are doing . You have to keep the filing down perfectly flat and get the profile correct very easy to ruin the CG guard if you get either wrong. Best to pay a recognized modder to fit it for you

HEY HEY HEY... No need to get hostile... Take a joke brother!
You got the perfect tutorial for doing this, I knew it was out there but couldnt find it. LOS found it for you. The rest is just playin with ya!
But take T4D's opinion... Its not as simple or easy as it looks, especially when your working with a really nice CG.
Practice on the original one first! And if you need another practice CG let me know I have a couple here that you can have.

Thanks T4D!

How much does it typically run for this type of mod?

Thanks for the offer CBR but what good will your extra CG's do when they are already fitted?

btw, I was going to send you some dirty magazines.

Because you can still practice on them... Fit them tighter and make sure you have the correct angle. Or how about I make them not fitted before I send them to you??? It was just a thought. I just know that when I tried this the first time I burned through a CG pretty quick. Luckily I had a couple spares!
