Just place order with Steve for Exlorer I

I just place an order with Steve for Explorer I, 3 days ago.
First I tried to pay by credit card, but payment not accepted, than tranferwise, really fast.
For now really good communication with Steve, waiting for QC

Which stainless version did you go for.

I’m debating the same.. I’m also looking for recent threads. Actually I already know the 316 steel is good enough. I actually want to know which one comes with the better movement

I went with the BP in 316 in the end, comes with the A28xx non 'rolex clone' movement so can replaced with an eta if there is any problem with it. Awaiting the qc pics this week.
Still need to find a decent guide on what to check when they turn up.

Hey that’s the same conclusion that I came to!! I read all 29 pages of that explorer thread. I like that I can swap the movement out in case it dies on me.

QC arrived really really nice, as far as I know, just waiting for shipping.... More than 10 days.....
