Just ordered PAN 777 from ToroBravo

This is my first purchase from ToroBravo. Got PAM 777 with the blue strap. Since I'm in China, shipping was 5$ only and should arrive in 1-2 days more or less with QC photos tomorrow. I'll post the photos when it arrives. This is the link of the watch:

Hi, I'm still trying to get a clear understanding of which factories in China produce the best rep. What are the differences between them? ...and I'm still confused.

Is VSF worth the extra money? Are there alternatives to paying almost $500 that are just as good? The Chinese seem to have gotten so good at watchmaking are there factories to avoid?

Congratulations! It's a good choice. I think that PAM777 HWF performed a little better than similar models, although, knowing the specifics of the model, you can certainly understand that this factory does not yet give the quality in details that we want to see.

@Evox I can't say which factory offers the best PAMs but I've seen lots of good reviews on ToroBravo here and thought that factory can't be that bad if advertised on ToroBravo's site, which in itself is a bit of a gamble that I was willing to make. Browse RWI, plethora of info and reviews. You can also see mine when I get it and have a better idea about the facotry/watch model.
@KOT1917 Thank you. Maybe photos that I post will help in getting some additional info on the factory or model. I'll do my best to take some macro photos.

I am sure that whoever is happy is right, because you are right. These are wonderful watches.

I will not go into details, however, I cannot but highlight; your photos perfectly capture their dial font with curious serifs. This is not correct for this model, and if I'm not mistaken, HWF did not repeat it on any other. Although, it is well executed, and I generally like it. It's amazing how they came up with this.

Thanks for sharing @KOT1917, never would've noticed. A question though: I wore friend's Luminor earlier, I remember that it was more expensive and a tad bigger than the one I bought and it had a bluish reflection on the glass when looking from the side. I don't see that on my watch. Is that normal for this model and is that something higher end watches like the one I mentioned have?

Regarding AR - no, this model should not have painted AR, in this regard, this HWF is doing well. No, at PANERAI this is not a privilege of more expensive models. It's just that certain types of crystals had it in certain periods of time. This does not apply to PAM777, do not worry.
