Just ordered my first PAM

Just pre-ordered a 177M from Angus. I'm super excited. I saw a few panerai's today in NYC on people, and I absolutely cannot wait to get this. A month ago I didn't know what a panerai was, now I'm completely obsessed.

I opted for the "custom made dark brown leather stitched" band. Anyone have experience with "custom" leather from puretime? Is the quality going to be any different than the other rep leather I've had in the past? If it's significantly inferior, any advice on my best bet for getting a nice dark brown leather band ordered?

I'll always love my Omegas, I love that Bond wears them... but RAMBO wears Panerai, and who can argue with that logic

Post your QC pics when you get them..Angus is definitely a great mate to deal with..very communicative and helpful..

As for the rep strap, have a go at it when you receive it but look out for the strap sales section..we have very decent strap makers who will be able to customize to your preference..

or buy from the likes of Strap Culture, Heroic 18, GSD, Gunny, etc..the list goes on..

From what we can see on the dealers pictures, these straps look good.

Actually a good telling point is that the leather straps versions are more expansive than the rubbers... So that will certainly be at least correct, even maybe a good strap.

I'll most certainly order one of these new 177M some time soon... so I'm quite interested in the pics too... The rubber seems a good choice too... But my MM20 is already on rubber... so... hummm....
