Just ordered my first aftermarket strap

Just ordered this sweet strap from TCStraps.com as my first aftermarket strap for my 177M. I'm sure it's going to be a HUGE upgrade over the rep leather strap that it came on. As soon as I get it, obviously many pictures to follow!

yikes, I just realized on paneristi.com that a LOT of great straps could be had for under $100. Tcstraps was the first website I looked at (and I liked what I saw so I bought it), did I overpay at $220, or do you get what you pay for and this MP strap will have exceptional quality?

That will be of a very high quality, and you will absolutely love it in comparison to the rep strap.
It really will make the watch 'complete'

There are a lot of strap makers. We have a trusted dealer section with some great members doing a lot of custom work. There is also a sticky thread, which needs some updating, that has links to many strap makers pages. There are as many strap options as there are sneaker options. The MP strap you got is a great start, but rep straps will never satisfy you anymore

I have this same strap from TC but in tan color. It's a great strap, you'll like it a lot. The thing to do is get on TCstrap's mailing list. They have quite a few sales throughout the year where their straps are marked down sometimes as much as 35 %. You can get a great quality strap for $130.

Check out Jeremy at Primestraps as he does excellent work. I have purchased two from him that I had custom made and they are great. Great guy to deal with to. Your strap looks great as well. Wear it in good health my friend.

Once you get your first "Good" strap, you'll never wear stock again... Not even out of the box with a new watch.
First thing I do after unboxing a new watch and winding to ensure it runs is to swap out the factory strap to something good. Rep straps have improved,,, but they still suck.
Good choice on the MP.... Very nice strap.
