Just thought I'd post my latest experience with Davidsen - a flawless transaction for a PAM 082, Amerigo Vespucci special edition watch. I sent my initial email inquiry on sunday. He responded promptly with a quote later that day and I sent payment via western union on monday.
Later that day I sent him a message asking him if he would check the crown before he sent the watch, because I had a problem with the crown on my last Davidsen watch. Not only did he write back saying he had checked the crown, but in his response email he sent two pics of the exact watch he was sending asking if it was satisfactory. (It was) Now that's personl service.
On tuesday he wrote back again saying he had sent out the watch, and on friday - just three days later - the watch arrived at my doorstep.
Now to the watch itself. Absolutely gorgeous. I will post pics sometime later when I get a chance. The lume is perfectly applied (which can be difficult on sausage dials) the crown is perfectly alligned and the overall fit and finish rivals the quality of the gen.
All in all, this was one of the best, if not THE best, experience I've had with a dealer on the boards in a long time. Quick, friendly, detailed service, and a great watch.
