First let me thank all the good members and mod's in this forum that contribute with so much knowledge and information, especially ALE7575 for his superb PAM guide and generous sharing of his time.
Have to send some thank you to Ryan at Intime also for getting me the watches.
Wasn't so long ago since I joined this forum and started reading and gathered information.
That lead me to I got this home.
A NOOB 111V3.
I'm not entirely sure if it's really a pure V3 as I ordered the watch just in the phase of NOOB going from V3 to what will become perhaps an V4?
And just recently this arrived in my mailbox.
I really like both of these watches but in a different way.
As I have read in this forum the NOOB 111 is one of the closest rep av an gen, atleast in the PAM world.
That together with me really like the PAM 111 was the triggering factor that lead me to order it.
When you are new in something, as I am in rep watches, I think you are better of to listen to other people and there knowledge first and together with your own opinion and what you fancy in a watch, before you order it.
With the KW605 it was a different story.
I noticed it in a forum thread here (a big thank you to the starter of it) and the dial instantly caught my eyes.
It was, for me, a stunner, so alive with it's sun flares and shifting i color depending of light.
I know that the rep is not near to a real 605, with the movement being a masked 6497 movement, the dial being a little of in color and so on..
But you know what?
I don't care, this watch is for me is a pleasure to put on the wrist and it feels so good there.
Don't get me wrong, so are the 111 but in a different way.
The 605 is bigger than the 111 but it feels smaller when you have it on.
Now, what am I going with this?
I'm starting to understand that for me a perfect rep of an watch is not the full story.
As a "newbie" you start to read around and gather all the knowledge you can, hopefully, before you order.
And in that you might miss the point in why your interest in watches started.
For me it was that I wanted something nice to have on my wrist to keep track of time, instead of getting the Iphone out of my pockets all the time.
I didn't start my buying of watches in the REP world, instead it was with homage watches.
Because of that the perfection to the gen wasn't a priority.
The priority thing started here
I feel that it is so easy to forget the first reason to why I like to wear a nice watch on my wrist and starting to pursue perfection instead, and miss out of the beauty of the watch.
And I'm happy that I have come to that insight before I got myself 30 or 40 rep's.
And that was the reason to why I got my, not perfect to gen 605
Don't get me wrong, I'm here to stay in the REP world and not going back to the Homage watches.
The homages watches will serve me good when I start to tinkering with whats inside of the watch, soon there
