Im not sure how many 127's Ive had and I dont know what it is about them. I love them, I always buy and end up selling. This one would be the most inaccurate Ive had though, being a lowbeat 6497-1 movement. The bright side is that it is a Swiss movement with engraved bridges. I dont know if the xtal is a stock noob(or whatever DSN uses as a base), but it is great looking without any funky distortion, so I didnt need to source a WSO this time. Here is a list of what I did to it.
Enjoy the pics, and of course, input/comments are welcomed. Thanks
- installed gen Incabloc
- installed long MM screw(not cut/modded)
- stripped yellow paint, gold filled
- tinted bridge jewels to match ETA
- installed polished crown/ratchet wheels
- flat crown/ratchet/click screws
- flat Swiss blued screws
and then, of course, a relume and service along the way.
