Im not sure how many 127's Ive had and I dont know what it is about them. I love them, I always buy and end up selling. This one would be the most inaccurate Ive had though, being a lowbeat 6497-1 movement. The bright side is that it is a Swiss movement with engraved bridges. I dont know if the xtal is a stock noob(or whatever DSN uses as a base), but it is great looking without any funky distortion, so I didnt need to source a WSO this time. Here is a list of what I did to it.

Enjoy the pics, and of course, input/comments are welcomed. Thanks

- installed gen Incabloc
- installed long MM screw(not cut/modded)
- stripped yellow paint, gold filled
- tinted bridge jewels to match ETA
- installed polished crown/ratchet wheels
- flat crown/ratchet/click screws
- flat Swiss blued screws

and then, of course, a relume and service along the way.

Just goes to show how a skilled modder such as @Strodda can make a rep so gorgeous looking without resorting to frankening. My God man, to have just half of that skill would be awesome. By the way, first dibs if you eventually sell that particular 127 as you historically have done. ;)

looks great. A ew questions. WHere did you get the gen Incabloc and how hard to replace, is it a straight up swap? How did you do the engraving of the OP word in yellow? I want to engrave the OP at the back of my Pam 111 as well.

Thank you very much! And funny enough I was already thinking about listing it. Every watch Ive had recently I really like and plan to keep, but with the custom "PJR" piece I finished recently, its my daily... kinda makes all other watches obsolete. For those that dont remember a Radiomir build I did a few years ago, PJR are my son's initials.

Incablocs can be purchased from Ofrei for $20. It is a straight swap and its not necessarily difficult, but you must be very careful when removing and replacing the balance wheel/stud. If you sneeze the hairspring will bend and if can be difficult to bring it back true.

As for the lettering, I just removed the stock yellow paint as best I could and used an oiler to fill with a metallic gold paint.

Well a watch with such a personal connection like that would definitely take up much of your wrist time. I guess that's fortunate for us (well me, ). I'm kinda glad now I don't have your skill, else all my PAMs would be up for sale (either that or I'd start wearing watches on both wrists). Hehehe

He's sold most if not all of the PAM127s he's made/modded. This one is mine.
Correction, I have sold ALL 127's and one maybe two 217's that Ive had. Im sure Ill sell at some point, because we all always do, but for now, Im enjoying wearing it around the house and just looking at it :)

It may look painted, are you certain its not engraved and filled? Might need a loupe to be able to tell.
