Well after perusing this and other great rep forums I finally made my first purchase.
I thought about the idea of getting a lower quality and cheaper rep to begin with but I figured why not just go for the best out of box available rep (at least I hope it is)

I just ordered a PAM 111h from davidsen.
He was VERY helpful throughout the process and always replies to my emails as soon as he reads them.

I was also able to pay him using xoom which saved me the massive WU fees!

I can hardly wait for the 111h to arrive!
I went over with him in the email about double checking everything (movement, cg, stripped screws etc) because i've heard his qc can be hit or miss...but he promised that he would so i'm hoping for the best.

Anyways, i'll be sure to post pics once I get it!

Good choice. Welcome to the club. Be wary of the OCD that sometimes develops after the first one.

thanks guys,
so no problems with either of your 111h's? did they come flawless when you got them the first time or did you have to have some things changed by him?

my 111 from dsn was not perfect. the lugs were stripped, and the crown was loose. both of which he eventually replaced. i haven't had a problem with his watch since. this is more then i can say about other dealers. dsn fixed by watch 6 months after i had worn it. most dealers would have told me that i was SOL.

I can back that up, he did the same for me.

He may have QC issues but he is a stand up guy who will look after you if there is a problem.

If he could just sort out the QC, he would be untouchable.

I'm hoping he double checks mine as I asked but i'm glad to know that he will replace/fix whatever is wrong with it..especially so far down the line.

So neither of you guys had problems shipping it back to hong kong?
No customs issues?
I've heard that it can be risky sending back the watch overseas to that area.

I got my DSN reps (from his 'ultimate range') about 4 days after payment........ It was shipped to the UK with no stress at all.

He was a true gent and made sure the units sent out were spot on........ 111H and fiddy were lovley

The only problem is now I want another one, but the the Mrs wont let me .....(she may have a point since we're buying a house that needs work....oh and we're expecting our 2nd baby.)

I can't see the problem myself
