Just Arrived - VC Overseas 47040/B01A-9094

Just received my VC Overseas 47040/B01A-9094 replica. Ordered from Josh from PF on 10/15. Arrived on my doorstep at 6pm 10/23.

I love it. Comparing it with pics of a gen version and I can't find any flaws. You guys are more experienced and am sure will find some that I'm not experienced enough to see.

1. Very happy with build quality. Stopped by a local jeweler to take out 2 links on the bracelet and the jeweler commented on how beautiful the watch is.
2. Not at all. Haven't noticed any noise.
3. My wrist is 7.5" circumference. I had to take out 2 links out of the bracelet for the watch to fit perfectly.

My grey and white dialled ones have arrived, very happy. excellent quality. One case back screw has a stripped thread and didn't want to come out. But fortunately it was only one, and a bit of jiggling about allowed me to raise the back and release the screw. The reason for doing this is the usual 9015 noisy rotor issue. The watches don't have a display case back so they've just used the standard miyota rotor. It's easy, with a fine oiler, to add a little drop of D5 to silence them since the bearing is clearly visible. On APs using the same movement, the rotor has been changed for one which hides the bearing.
The grey one has a different datewheel from the white one. so double digit dates have the usual shift to the left, like so many Rolexes etc. Heaven knows why the Chinese still haven't got this right.
On balance, despite the date wheel I do prefer the smooth dialled grey one, the contrast with the sandblasted bezel is rather nice. There is a good sunburst effect on the dial.

Don't know, it's the one Puretime currently offer from JJF. Actually no, because it's on the bracelet, not rubber.

The Puretime picture does show a correct datewheel, and not the one I have, but for those of an anally retentive persuasion, it would be worth checking to make sure you get shipped the right one.
