Just a little FGD teaser

Well since I liquidated my collection months back to be able to buy my first house I have been coming back with vengeance in trying to rebuild a nice collection. Its slowly coming along. I have finally acquired all the FGD dials I want and need for my builds, including the uber rare 001 (going in my 040), the 205a, as well as the uber rare 218. Jsut a little teaser pic for now. Almost all of them have swiss engines, LH cgs or V cgs, T48's, FGD hands (001 will have new fgd hands once the DSN ones come off), gringo/dirk/ray/donerix straps. And I still need to complete my 040 and 218. But here are a few pics of everything in the works. I will have a gringo for the 218 and a K99 on the 040. Enjoy

pre-v case for something like a 201a with double screw in lugs or normal lugs like a 002a?

I'm not worried about the bathroom. I'm worried the misses will say she wants hardwood at the beginning of next year

As for the best pre-v case...all depends on how deep the pockets go. best bet would be to find an old dsn case and have the lugs drilled.

Well I thought nembo was good bc it had a good curve to start with but the purists say the pin is too big. Its what I have and I'm using it.

OMG! Just when I thought I had sussed out the acronyms, even down to the more obscure ones like LH. Just when I began to feel that I was one of the cognoscenti and could use the terms 'CG' and 'PVD', 'AR, and 'STD' without batting an eye, there's a new one...... What/who is FGD?

FGD is fishgodeep over on rwg. He has been making pre-v dials for a while. He madea few 218's and 205s. More 202's, 201's and 002s than anything. The 001 was a limited run.

I think he's not going to make any more dials after we talked a while. Too much time. They still come up a lot (not so much the 218's, 205's or the 001s) but they are a must for a pre-v build

Actually Coldi there will be his last run soon for 201, 202 dials plus hands. I am in the list hopefully, wanna built my pain/grail 201A one day soon. But the biggest issue is the pre-v case...

I know someone needs to manufacture nice pre-v cases. That's why I'm sticking to my dsn pre-v cases bc I'm hoping something better comes along
