Hello every one, I would like to verify if i got it right, as I just ordered a Homage with Jimmy's parts?

Case
Crown Guard
Caseback

Also did Jimmy ever make a crown, or what other parts did he make?
(LOL Jimmy is starting to sound like Billy)

Case and CG look correct to me.

No idea on the caseback.

Why would someone pay the premium of Jimmy's parts if they were building an homage? The value to Jimmy's stuff is that it is/was the most accurate out there compared to gen parts. If you build an homage, why do you care about accuracy to gen?

Jimmy has no parts left except a few hands unfortunately.
I managed to get a Jimmy crownguard for my 63 and I can tell you it is pretty nice but you can mod one to have the same feel.

following up on my reply to your post on RWG..the case looks like JFZu, the CG isn't, for sure. Crown is most likely DSN, if thick edge and shallow dish is anything to go by.

I wouldn't pay a premium on this one, but up to you...

Actually, I have spoken to Jimmy and sent him the pictures, and he confirms that the Case caseback and CG are his. Thank you all for you kind input or suggestion. I got this watch as a trade to my old ('94) Gen Omega Seamaster Mid size Quarts which i had not worn for many years. So in all practicality there was no preimium paid.

Not the CG, asad, it isn't Jimmy's.
If Jimmy told you that he's not telling you the truth.

The CG shown on your pics is oversized for Jimmy's case, and it doesn't fit well.
His 'original' parts fit perfectly together, and that's not the case here. Also, the lever on Jimmy's CG is perfectly positioned inside the CG and there's no gaps like your side photo shows.

...and Jimmy NEVER made/offered brushed CG, only polished. While it's possible to brush the polished CG, it will never look like factory brushed finish, the one you show has the factory brushed finish.

Still a good watch, watsoever.

Thanks, I will defintly get that verified thoroughly by Jimmy and you all when i get the watch, I will take it a apart and post a handful of pictures, and if the need be, I will send it to Jimmy to be properly fully verifed or will go around knocking on peoples doors to see if it fits perfectly on some ones GEN Panerai.
