Hi , in some ways yes, but this is still an a23j movement .

The 23J does not have a running chronometer i.e. faux chronograph.
Some prefer the gen-like thinness of the 23J while others prefer the running chronometer of the A7750, though it is thicker.

Since there's no running chrono you don't have to worry about failure as with the 7750, which we all know is a time bomb. And in reality, how often do we usually use the chrono?
