That Swiss movement is most likely an Asian Movement that is 100% identical to the ETA 2836. I've never heard of 21 miyota movement. Can we have a link to the watch in question please? Thanks.

if it's supposed to be the Miyota 8215, fitted to some of the Omegas with deco plates, then that's the one with the awful indirectly driven sweep seconds hand which is usually stuttery. I'd choose the 2836 any day. Asian or 'Swiss'...

It'll depend on the watch in question some, but also what are your preferences. For example, to some the loud noise of the Miyota is a killer.

21 is miyota 8215 iirc? 9015 is good but yes the rotor is quite loud.

Got my second miyota recently (a omega de ville) and both show only minimal stutter. The deco looks great and the movement is known to be a reliable workhorse. Would always buy it again

The 8215 may be OK with a very light seconds hand, but my experiences with the Bonds are terrible. And there shouldn't be ANY stutter at all. It's a well acknowledged design problem even outside the rep world. I wouldn't touch another one with a barge pole. It's used simply because, if you check places like Cousins price lists, it's half the price of the A2824, and a 3rd the price of a A2836.

Well my other miyota is a bond spectre. And even that only shows minor stuttering when it is placed on the side. By far not as bad as seen in some videos. When it is flat on the ground it doesn't stutter at all. So, no problem for me. But as always opinions differ... [emoji6]
