Unfortunately, I haven't found a good dual face Reverso either. I'm tempted to pull the trigger on a gen JLC Grande Reverso Duo...

I understand the intent, but the sapphire crystal is less likely to scratch than the steel back, and while one might worry about it shattering, I don't exactly play polo.

It's just a bit ironic that a watch originally designed for the extreme sport of it's day is now considered one of the most iconic dress watches. Nevertheless, you're probably first person I've encountered for some time saying that they'll be using a Reverso as a daily beater around heavy equipment.

If you are interested in the single face Reversos, then I think TrustyTime has a pretty decent Swiss quartz Reverso with an integrated metal bracelet for a bit more than $300, which looks to be based on a previous generation model. The current generation has metal bracelets that that be swapped out for a leather strap.

Thanks - will check out the reverso... had only ever seen dual-faced ones, therefore wrote them off.

I don't have a daily beater due to the work and possibility of damage, but each Monday I wear a watch when only doing meetings. What I wear varies between a fantastic Patek Phillipe fantasy which I love and a beautiful Brueget manual wind.

In addition to the Swiss quartz replicas with the integrated bracelets, there is also a fantasy skeleton Reverso replica which looks pretty cool, but probably won't fool a real JLC enthusiast.
