I've been looking for a reverso that is either manual or automatic for such a long time, that I'm on a first name basis with the dealers already. I've sent many notes to many different dealers, but they all keep coming back saying no available.

Does anyone have any idea what can I do to get my hands on a rep reverso?

I think pure time has it on their site, but not sure if it's in stock. I'm keen to get one too post CNY, so do let me know if you're able to get hold of one.

Why bother getting in manual/auto when quartz is way better, and with no second hands and you can't tell anyway. I love this one to bits

i tried angus. He says its not in stock.

Many 'high end' watchmakers started producing quartz watches in the 1980s. Super accuracy, no winding and competing with the new arrivals was the reason. They only went back to olde worlde clockwork when the swiss realised they could play up the craftsmanship and mechanical engineering etc.! Marketing in its purest form,

First and only quartz rep i own...gotta say its a great piece...i got the 1931 tribute and its beautiful...plain solid case back, hypodermic hands, and the best rep strap i have ever received...croc version at least...

You've been sucked into the marketing hype. When a watch has no second hand, what does it matter whether it's quartz or mechanical? Esp if it's a rep? So fun at least one watch in my collection not needing winding every single time I pick it up.
