J12 ceramic Removal of links

Hi guys, Hoping someone can help.
Bought J12 for my wife, great quality white ceramic diver vers.
Cant get the link pins out with my normal removal tool. Don't want to put too much pressure on the tool or the watch pins. Dealer replied to me to take it to a professional as its difficult !
I found a thread on here a few years old, but all Pics had expired with the how to's.
Any advice ?

Sorry about the quality, taken on phone.
Link pins have a small round indent on one side and flat face on the other. No arrows on underside of links to indicate direction. I tried pushing from side with small indent, using the link removal tool but no movement. Didn't want to damage pin or tool so thought I'd ask for advice.
