IWC Regulateur

Greetings! I've done my level best to search the archives, and have found mostly dead links along with this rather dated link. So, perhaps this is telling me something, but I thought I'd kick the forum to be sure.

I'm looking for a rep of the IWC Regulateur, ideally in gold. According to the link above, there was concern over the movement's augmentation and life span. Again, this was over a decade ago, and from what I've seen, things have evolved substantially. So if anyone has this rep watch, how's your experience been with it? How long ago did you get it? And if copacetic, please DM me a TD that you'd recommend (sorry in advance if this is an inappropriate request).

I'm not sure I've read anything about this watch on this forum in a couple of years. I don`t remember seeing it on a TD website either. That makes me think that you will need luck to find one.

As for the TDs - I have bought only from two of them but would work with both again. I guess all the TDs here are good - hence the trust.
I believe that the shipping cost they charge are not the same for each of them.
