IWC Portofino, which one to go? MKF or new TWF?

Hello guys,
I want to get an IWC Portofino with white dial, silver indices on a black strap. I checked the threads and recognized there’re are several versions out from different factories. On the NWBIG list I recognized that there is a model: IWC Portofino White Dial v4 by MK Factory

I checked out the intime website for the correct v4 version but I could only find the v3 by me factory with a miyota movement (see the link):

I also found the TWF version on the intime website which has arrived new and mounts a A892 movement and has a little bit other dial (see link):

On puretime, which I would not prefer as a trusted dealer, I even found a portofino by mkf which was listed as a v5 (see link):

Now I got several questions that I couldn’t find on my research. I would be glad if someone experienced could help me:
1. Is the portofino v3 by mkf that is listed on the intime website (first link) the v4 that is in the nwbig list?
2. what about the newly released version by twf (second link). Ist the new twf version better than the mkf version?
3. what is this v5 version on the puretime website (thrust link). Is it the same version tun the v3 on the intime website?
4. which version of the portofino would you recommend me as the best version in general and what flaws has it? I don’t have a watch with myota movement yet and I don’t know if they are reliable. I would be glad for an intime link, since Ryan is my prefered source.

Sorry for the long list but I really don’t want to buy the wrong version. Your help is much appreciated. Thank you very much for your help in advance!

The TWF is a different model to the MKF Portofino.
to be honest mate, I am 100% certain, you won't get called out with the MKF. It's not a common model and nobody suspects a replica IWC. I've ordered the V5 from puretime, got my QC and it looks gorgeous.

Is the v5 from puretime the same as the v3 on intime? At least the price and the movements seem to be the same. Please let me know. Id rather order at Ryan.

Well to my untrained eyes they look roughly identical. Maybe the v5 has nicer hands, with a more 3d effect... But that could be the different lighting on puretime... :/

Why don't you drop ryan an email and ask him about the v5? It's probably the TDs naming the watches version themselves again. So maybe one has a v5, one has a v4, one has a v6 but at the end of the day, everyone has the same watch? Who knows....

Why is there a myota movement in the latest version? The v4 has A892 movement inside. Has anyone an idea why they did this? To me the A892 would be the better movement if I am right

By the way, what strap size do the portofino models have and is the strap mounted on straight or curved lugs? Taking into consideration getting a custom strap for it.

The claps has 18 mm then?

So the steapnsize od the portofino is :
20/18 straight right?

I'm pretty sure it is. I can't measure it now as mine is locked away. Why don't you just wait for your watch and then order a fitting one, once you've measured the rep strap?

That is a good point. I want to order one at ziczac leather and it takes around 6 weeks until I can hold it in my hands

- 20/18 strap, straight lugs
- strap length: 115m / 75mm
- tang buckle

Not only better movement but the GEN has an ETA 2892 or more recently the same movement produced by Sellita. The only advantage I see on the V5 are the dials, seem to have the markers aligned, otherwise is a big step back. Is a pitty because I would have bought one of each colour. It is my favourite dress watch.

I just received my MK V5. Put it straight on a genuine lizard strap as the rep strap is absolute sh!t.
First Pic is of my Gen, the rest is the MK V5, I will do a proper rep vs Gen comparison in the near future. Sorry for the crap Pic, don't have the Gen with me currently...
