Are these any good? I'm looking for a good rep of the 41mm version of the IW388102 with the correct subdial layout (AZ factory has 6 and 9 subdials swapped) and I came across this:
website

My TD says he can get me one but before I commit to buy something I have to do my homework. So, does anyone have any info on these particular MKS Factory reps?

I was left with the fact that the replicas used A7750 and therefore with seconds at 9 o'clock instead of having seconds at 6 o'clock.
Have you checked what movement they have?

That is why I am asking - this one has subdials in the correct position, weather they function accordingly is the question I'm looking the answer to.

I would wait for actual pictures as promo pics are likely gen only so will not be the same layout

Well, they have these pics up which definitely aren't GENs. They are (MKS) supposedly the only ones making a quick release for the bracelet, as for the movement functionality - AFAIK they aren't telling, but it's in Chinese so I only know what google translate wants me to know...

Well judging from your pictures this factory is exactly the same as AZF

Look how in all the photos the 9 subdial the hand is at different positions, indicating it is moving but 6 subdial is frozen at 12. It means the movement is 7750 not a new one, with incorrect subdials.

Personally I prefer it like that but it is NOT like gen and not better than AZF.

Thanks @ellocity, I am aware what the subdials should count on the gen, I am just looking a confirmation (albeit pretty well put from @Reaps) that the rep doesn't provide what the gen is offering.

the thickness is probably also higher: AZF 15.3 GEN: 14.6

All 7750s with modified subdials are absolutely time bombs.

The only ONE singular exception is the thin 7750 used in the 3714 and 3716.
My thin 7750 works fine, although I never run the chrono. The chrono does not run that smoothly, I’d say it’s a time bomb if you play with the chrono. Besides that, it’s within 4/s a day like a year or so later, so not bad.

For me the AZF version is more accurate beside the fact that the running seconds are @9 instead @6 because the running seconds subdial has the correct 60 seconds printing
